Google updates their Adsense Dashboard
Tuesday, November 9th, 2010I just logged into my Adsense account and Google has improved and made the dashboard easier to read and use. It shows you how much you made that day in ad revenue, how much you’re likely to get paid by Google since your last payments and more. It gives a very nice overview of your account, including quick access to performance stats, reports and a link to login into your Analytics account.
It looks like it’s a nice improvement. It’s easy to read and use. One click and changes are alot easier than the old version. There are 4 tabs across the top that give you quick access to your ads (and settings), allowed and blocked ads, performance reports and back to home.
I paricularly like the performance report tab as it shows a line graph for your site’s income over a defined period of time. It’s kinda nice to see how well you are doing and which days are up and which are down. The visual graph is a nice quick viewpoint. I could even see that going on the home page one day.
For those of you that don’t know, Google Adsense is a way to make money from your own website. Google will pay you money by simply placing ads on your site that they give you. More specifically, Google gives you the ad ‘code’ to copy and paste onto your own web pages and then Google ‘reads’ your web page and determines the most appropriate ads for your site.
I have made thousands and thousands of dollars from Google Adsense over the years. It’s an easy way to earn part time and even full time income from your website with little to know effort on your part.
The ultimate thing that makes adsense make money for you is traffic. IF you have visitors to your site, and you don’t have ads on your site, then you are simply losing money.
And with the new Adsense dashboard, it makes it easier than ever to use, setup, track and start earning your own money online.
